Children's dentistry at Pozsonyi Dent

A positive and reassuring dental experience

Children's dental health is important from the moment their first primary teeth appear. Our aim is to make every dental visit feel safe, calm and positive while caring for their teeth in a friendly, age-appropriate way.

During children's dental appointments, we pay particular attention to helping young patients gradually become familiar with the dental environment, understand what is happening and develop trust. In addition to treating current dental problems, we place strong emphasis on prevention and on developing healthy oral hygiene habits.

With a patient, child-centred approach, we aim to establish positive dental experiences and healthy oral care habits from an early age.

Prevention-focused care

Regular check-ups help us identify potential problems at an early stage and support children in learning the foundations of proper oral hygiene.

Positive first experiences

It is important to us that children become familiar with the dental practice gradually and at their own pace, helping them associate dental visits with a sense of safety and trust.

Age-appropriate communication

Examinations and treatments are explained in a friendly, child-friendly way, while parents receive clear and detailed information throughout the appointment.

When should you book?

When is it worth booking a children's dental examination?

A visit to the dentist is useful even when your child has no symptoms. Regular check-ups and early guidance can help prevent future problems and make dental appointments a natural part of your child's routine.

First dental visit

If you would like your child to become familiar with the dentist in a positive way, it can be helpful to book an introductory visit even before any symptoms appear.

Possible tooth decay

If you notice discolouration, sensitivity or other symptoms, an early examination can help identify and address the problem before it progresses.

Oral hygiene guidance

We help children develop an appropriate toothbrushing routine and provide practical guidance for parents on home oral care.

Monitoring tooth eruption

The transition from primary to permanent teeth is an important developmental period, during which certain dental or positional irregularities may be identified early.

Pain or sensitivity

If your child reports pain, discomfort while eating or another unusual symptom, it is worth arranging an examination as soon as possible.

Trust-building check-ups

Regular, calm check-ups can help the dental environment remain familiar and reassuring for children over the long term.

Children's dentist

Dr Fanni Varasdi

Dr Fanni Varasdi graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Pécs in 2021. From an early age, she knew that she wanted to work in healthcare. For her, dentistry is not only about restoring function and aesthetics, but also about prevention and long-term oral health.

Her main areas of professional interest include children's dentistry, aesthetic fillings, dental restorations and comprehensive oral rehabilitation. In her work, she places great emphasis on precision, patient communication and helping both children and their parents feel understood, supported and comfortable throughout the treatment.

She considers a relaxed treatment atmosphere and a relationship built on trust to be particularly important. She explains treatment options and procedures in detail so that parents can make informed decisions together with their dentist and children can feel more confident about their dental visits.

Her aim is to provide precise, empathetic and modern dental care and to help patients leave the dental practice with a positive experience.
What to expect

What happens during a children's dental visit?

We aim to make every appointment clear and reassuring for both children and parents. The examination and any treatment are always adapted to the child's age, situation and level of cooperation.

01

Getting to know each other

From the first moments, we aim to create a relaxed atmosphere so your child can become familiar with the environment at their own pace.

02

Dental examination

We examine the teeth, gums and current dental condition, and then explain our findings to the parent in a clear and understandable way.

03

Recommendations and guidance

We discuss the next steps, provide oral hygiene advice and explain whether treatment or a future check-up is recommended.

04

Building long-term trust

The aim is not only to complete the current examination, but also to help dental visits remain a familiar and manageable experience for your child in the future.
